For Stephen's 31st birthday, we went out to dinner at Saltgrass with Nana and Pop Pop and then came home to have his favorite birthday treat, a Carvel ice cream cake! I think the Carvel cake is definitely an East Coast thing because I had never heard of it before Stephen. Dinner was very good and both of our kids were very well behaved (which was a pleasant surprise)! Before Abbie went to bed, she helped us sing "Happy Birthday" and helped Daddy blow out his candles. Happy Birthday Daddy!

that's too funny lindsay as i had never heard of a carvel icecream cake till my brother in law vito....family is from boston!
