We had to get to Abbie and Carter’s yearly check-ups bright and early this morning. I went ahead and scheduled them for the same time so we could get them over with. Both kids did great! The doctor said they both are growing and developing right on track. They even had their blood pressure taken, and Abbie did a hearing and vision screening. Thankfully, no one needed any shots today! Hooray!
Abbie weighs 44lbs 2oz (75%) and is 44 3/8” tall (90%). Carter weights 32lbs 4oz (50%) and is 38 5/8” tall (75%). Almost an hour later we were done! We are so thankful that Abbie and Carter are so healthy and rarely have to go to the doctor. I told him we would be seeing him a lot more, though, with Elisabeth’s arrival!
We came home for a quick rest and then it was off to a make-up swimming class for Carter. He had a great time swimming with another little boy and girl. (He is the only child in his class right now. The individualized attention is great for his developing swimming skills, but he really misses having friends there.)
After swimming we came home and quickly gave Carter a bath before heading out again to meet some friends for lunch and play at an indoor playground. Three moms with 7 kids (soon to be 9) can be quite chaotic! All the kids seem to have a lot of fun playing!
After our long and busy day, the kids are now sleeping soundly on this rainy day. Maybe I will join them!
