Abbie is definitely into swimming these days! Even after our weekend of swimming at Mimi’s, she was still up for meeting Wendy and Griffin at the pool this morning! Stephen and Carter were at home recovering from our big weekend. We decided to check out the outdoor pool at one of our newest rec centers. Playgroup went to the indoor pool last summer (click here to see our trip) and had a great time, so we thought the outdoor pool would be just as fun. We were right! Abbie and Griffin loved splashing around the kids area and going down the slide. They also loved the wide stairs with water falling down. Eventually, we made our way to the big pool. The rec center had life jackets for use which was wonderful! Abbie was able to swim independently in the big pool. I stood by just in case. She loved doing it by herself! No trip to the pool would be complete without a snack of goldfish! We all had fun and can’t wait to go again soon!
