This afternoon Abbie and I went swimming with some of our friends from playgroup. We are planning to go swimming every other Friday this summer. This will be a great way to continue Abbie's progress from swim lessons! Plano has many indoor and outdoor pool facilities. I love the indoor pools (no sunscreen!) but am looking forward to when the outdoor pools open.
Today we went to a great new Plano pool that has indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, and giant water slides! It also has an area for smaller children with water fountains and slides, which all the kids love. We all had a wonderful time swimming and had the pool all to ourselves most of the afternoon! Unfortunately, we knew it was time to go when all the kids started shivering. It was a little cool inside! We can't wait for the outdoor pools to open!
