Dora Live!

This morning Nana, Rachel, Abbie and I went to Dora Live! I thought it would be something special for Abbie to do with Nana and Rachel. It was Abbie’s very first musical production. She had a lot of fun with Rachel and loved looking at all the other kids!

First, we stood in line to get our picture with Dora and the gang. Too bad we were looking at Nana when our picture was taken (and that picture didn’t turn out). Oops!

After the photo, we found our seats. Abbie ended up sitting in my lap because she didn’t weigh enough to keep the folding seat down!She was a little unsure of the actual production. She liked it until Swiper the fox came on stage. She is scared of Swiper! Even when she watches the show at home she will always make me come watch it with her when Swiper comes on. Every time he would come on stage she would bury her head in my shoulder. She enjoyed the rest of the show though! She loved waving her star and dancing at the end.

After the show, we went to lunch and then headed home. Abbie took a 2 hour nap after her fun and exciting day!
