Yesterday playgroup celebrated two birthdays! The two oldest children in playgroup, Emily and Emmy, turned 2! It is hard to believe that our little babies are turning 2. It feels like just yesterday that we were celebrating Abbie's 1st birthday. All of the children had a great time at the party. They all seemed to really enjoy sitting at the small table together and eating snacks and cake. Abbie loved all the yummy snacks, including cheese, goldfish, raisins, and wheat crackers. All of her favorites at one meal! Once it was time for cake, all of the other kids seemed to really enjoy it. Abbie did have fun playing with the spoon and taking mini bites of cake (more like crumbs)! Oh well, at least she pretended to eat it! Maybe one day her sweet tooth will kick in. We have found that she does love chocolate. Steve asked if her birthday cake was going to be chocolate. We'll see! Abbie, Griffin and Travis enjoying snacks! Abbie always seems to gravitate to playing with boys, much to her Daddy's dismay. I, however, am happy as she will soon have a little brother to play with for the rest of her life.
