Elisabeth is 9 Months!

Elisabeth is 9 months old today! She is getting to be such a big girl!  Here are some of the latest things she is up to.

• Elisabeth is still doing an army crawl.  She is very good at it and can go fairly fast.  She is not yet pulling up to stand at things.  I think she is getting close though!
• Elisabeth is getting three bottles a day now, one in the morning, one before her afternoon nap, and one before bed.  She is really starting to lose interest in her bottles and would much rather feed herself finger foods.  She still eats baby food at each meal, but also eats lots of finger foods.
• Elisabeth is still sleeping through the night, from about 7:30 to 7:30 the next morning. She is usually happy to play in her bed until 8:00  or so, and will sometimes fall back asleep. It is usually 8:00 before I can finally go get her after getting everyone else up and going and out the door!  She is still taking two naps a day.  Her naps are usually an hour to an hour and a half long.  On days when we have things going on in the morning, she is able to stay awake until just after lunch and then take one nap for the day.
• Elisabeth is getting her two front teeth! They are just about to poke through his gums. I think they are really bothering her. Poor thing! I hope they come in soon for all our sakes!
• Elisabeth has started to babble. She has started to say “ma-ma” and “da-da” sounds but does not associate them with us yet. 
• Elisabeth waves now!  It is just about the cutest thing ever!  She likes to wave to people and to Bailey.

We love you Elisabeth!  2012 has been such an exciting year for all of us and we are so excited to see all the things you accomplish in 2013!
