We celebrated our first Easter together as a family of 4! Besides birthdays, this was our first major holiday as whole family! We all had a nice day. Unfortunately, it was raining all morning which prohibited an outdoor egg hunt. It is just as well. Abbie would have just been so excited to be outside running around she probably would not have even bothered looking for eggs, which would have left me to pick them all up! She loved looking at all the surprises in her Easter basket. She also loved her basket from Mimi and Bebe and her "big turtle" from Great-Grandma and Grandpa Carter. Fortunately, the last thing she noticed was the candy. Once she had her hands on M&Ms that was her main focus! Carter slept through our Easter celebration snuggled up in his Miracle blanket. I am sure next year it will be much different for him! I am not sure how it will be next year, but this year Abbie was very good about not touching Carter's basket. We hope all of our family and friends had a wonderful Easter as well!

Her very own "big turtle"! I asked her what her turtle's name is, and she said "Woof". Okay.
She loved these little stretchy bunnies! She took them with her in the car to dinner. She was somewhat distraught when she tore an arm off!
