Congratulations Mimi!

Today we all drove down for Mimi’s retirement party.  After 42 years of teaching elementary school, Mimi is retiring!  We are so proud of her wonderful teaching career and so excited she will have more time to spend with us now!

The party was at a great restaurant on the lake.  Bebe took Abbie and Carter outside to explore the gorgeous patio and dock.  They had the best time!

Elisabeth slept for most of the party in her car seat.  Eventually she woke up to eat and Mimi had a chance to walk her around and show her to all her teacher friends.

Mimi’s fellow teachers did a little presentation for her.  Carter wanted to stand with Mimi the whole time.  He was so excited and kept clapping enthusiastically!

After the party, we all went to Kemah and had a nice dinner on the boardwalk. It was a fun day celebrating Mimi and all of her accomplishments!
