Zoobilee!

Friday night was Zoobilee at the zoo!  It is a night for members to go to the zoo with music and special activities.  It was also the first night for the Dinosaur exhibit and members got to walk through for free (normally it costs $7 per person which is a lot for a family with several kids!).  Abbie, Carter and I headed to the zoo right after school and Mimi, Bebe and Grandmere met us there for a fun night!
We walked around and saw our favorite animals, including the elephants.  Abbie and Carter love seeing them because there are big sister and little brother elephants that remind them of themselves.  So cute!  We ate dinner and had some hula hoop fun outside the restaurant.  We stopped at the carousel for a ride before waiting in line for the Dinosaur exhibit.  The line was very long but fortunately it went quickly.
Carter was excited to see the dinosaurs and Abbie was not.  Bebe had to hold her for most of the exhibit.  I managed to get one picture of her in front of the baby dinosaurs and then she walked quickly toward the exit.  Carter had fun looking at all the dinosaurs with Mimi and pretended to feed them.
We stayed until the zoo closed at 8:00 and then made the drive home.  Both kids were worn out from all the fun and slept most of the way.  It was a fun night!  I can’t wait for Elisabeth to be old enough to join us on the next one!
