Tonight Elisabeth took her very first bath in the big kid tub! Now that she has mastered sitting, I thought it was time to move out of the little, blue baby tub. I remember we waited until Abbie was older to move her out of the baby tub and it was not an easy adjustment! I don’t know if it was the hard texture of the tub or the rubber mat under her, but Abbie cried during her first few baths in a big tub. Since then, we have moved Carter and Elisabeth earlier to tried to avoid that. (However, it is now very clear that Abbie has been quite the drama queen since birth!)
At first Elisabeth was excited to be in the tub she watches her brother and sister get a bath in. Then she started to have a little panic attack. But once she found the toys, she was just fine and hasn’t had a problem since! Such a big girl!
(It was very challenging to get pictures. The tub area is tiny as it is, and trying to fit me in there while Stephen was there making sure she didn’t fall was very difficult!)
