Nana came for a long weekend last week to visit us! She arrived late Thursday night and stayed through Sunday afternoon. Abbie was very excited to wake up and see Nana on Friday morning. Nana came with us to ballet class and then to the grocery store. Abbie pushed her own cart around with Nana while I shopped. Nana was very generous and let Abbie have all of the miscellaneous things she had put in her cart, including a box of Cheese Its she had found on the end of an isle and a purple bouncy ball!
We then had lunch and played the rest of the day. We even went to Abbie’s favorite playground! Nana watched Abbie and Carter while Steve and I went out for dinner Friday night. Thanks Nana! It was so nice to go out just the two of us!
On Saturday, Nana went with Abbie and I to her trial gymnastics class. She loved jumping on the trampoline and hanging from the bar. That evening we all went out to dinner. It was a rare event, both Abbie and Carter were very well behaved.
Nana had to leave on Sunday so we played for a while in the morning before she had to go. We had a great time visiting with her. Please come back soon Nana!

Nana had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back. If anyone is wondering, the "she" who loved jumping on the trampoline and hanging from the bar -- was Abbie, not Nana! Nana loved watching, though! love, Me
