Happy Birthday Bailey!

My oldest baby turns 4 today! I can't believe Bailey is already turning 4. I still vividly remember the day we brought her home. It was December 2, 2004. We drove almost an hour away to see a litter of cocker spaniel puppies. I think we saw 3 0r 4 that day. All of the others were running around like crazy. Bailey just came up and sat at my feet. She looked up at me with her big brown eyes, and I was hooked!

Seriously...who could resist that face?!

She sat at my feet forever waiting for us to take her home. I told Steve that Ginger, my beloved cocker spaniel as a child, had told Bailey in Heaven what a good dog family we were. Honestly, it felt like she was meant to be our puppy. We brought her home, and she has made us happy every day since! She is my constant companion, always by my side the second I sit down. She always greets us at the door when we get home and sometime cries when we leave. She is AMAZING with her often pesky baby sister. She lets Abbie kiss, hug and lay on her to no end. She truly is my first baby, and I will love her forever.
