Our Weekend with Nana and Rachel

Steve's mom and niece, Rachel, flew in to town LATE Friday night and stayed with us through Sunday. It was a fun and very fast visit! Abbie had a lot of fun playing with Nana and Rachel Saturday morning. Then we all headed to Gatti Town for pizza and games! Rachel had a great time playing air hockey with Stephen. Then we tried the carousel, but Abbie was not a big fan. She finally warmed up and found a game that she loves...ski ball! What is not to love for Abbie! She gets to throw the balls all she wants!







Later that evening we went out for a nice dinner. Abbie loved having Rachel sitting next to her at dinner. Rachel even fed Abbie her applesauce!

After dinner, we came home to give Abbie her bath and get her ready for bed. Abbie showed Rachel how she picks out her book to read at bedtime, and Rachel was so sweet to read it to her!




We had a great time during their visit! We wish we could see them more often. We are looking forward to seeing Nana and Rachel again at the shore in August!

It was a fantastic visit! What fun to have my two sweet girls together. We packed so many things into a short time. When reporting on our trip to Aunt Ellen, Rachel said, "Abbie wore me out!". Such is the energy of the one-year old. . . I say it is payback for what Rachel put us through! We have wonderful memories. Thanks for the blog, Lindsay.
