While we were in Omaha we stayed with Aunt Bev and Uncle Gene. Thanks guys! Luckily, Aunt Bev already has all the "Grandma" supplies at her house for CJ. She had a carseat, booster seat, play yard, and most importantly, toys! Abbie loved playing with the "new" toys there. Here are some pictures of her playing outside one nice evening.
Abbie loved seeing CJ again. The last time she had seen him was when she was 3 months old! CJ (my cousin Joan's son) recently turned 2, so he is not too much older than Abbie. We went over to see their beautiful new house. CJ was so sweet to give Abbie a hug and share his toys with her! After our visit at the new house, we went to lunch at Red Robin! Abbie loved having CJ eating with her at her table.
The best part of our whole trip was being able to see Great-Grandma and Grandpa Brunner! We all miss them so much when we can't see them! Great-Grandma is doing so well after her major heart bypass surgery in April. I am so proud of you Grandma! We had a lovely "girls" lunch with Great-Grandma. We all loved visiting Great-Grandma and Grandpa each day! Abbie loved exploring the interesting things at their apartment. We were so sad to have to say goodbye! Abbie is so blessed to have so many great-grandparents in her life!

Our Trip to Omaha
Grammy, Abbie and I went to Omaha the last week of June. We went to visit Great-Grandma and Grandpa Brunner, Aunt Bev and Uncle Gene, and Joan and CJ. Our trip started off with a non-stop (yea!) flight from Houston to Omaha. Abbie had a great time at the airport watching everyone while we waited for our plane. She also enjoyed looking at all the activity going on outside at the airport. Abbie did really well on the plane. She ate her lunch and then slept for the last 40 minutes of the 2 hour flight. What a relief!

On our flight home there was an empty seat next to us so Abbie was able to have her own seat! She ate her lunch and played most of the flight. She finally fell asleep with about 20 minutes left on the flight. We all had a great time visiting everyone in Omaha! We wish we could have seen Linda while we were there. We are already looking forward to our next trip. We miss you guys!
