Abbie’s Trip To The Zoo

At the end of September, we went back to the Dallas Zoo with a few of our friends from playgroup, Griffin, Emily and Ella. All of the kids had a great time! We started our day by playing in the wonderful kids area. Then we headed out to look at some of the animals. Abbie’s favorite animals that day were the giraffes (or “raffes” as she calls them, she forgets the first syllable!). We made sure to visit them, and she chose that as her animal to ride on the carousel. She had a great time exploring and running around the zoo with her friends. All the kids were excited to see the tiger. However, we are unable to find him in his habitat. Abbie said that he was playing hide and seek with us. I thought it was so cute! That is all she talked about the rest of the afternoon, and how the zookeeper would find him. We ate our lunch on benches and explored a bit more. She had a fun day and came home and took a great nap!
