Only one more month until Elisabeth is one year old! I really can’t believe it has almost been a year since she was born. She is quickly moving away from a baby and more to a toddler. Here are the latest things she is up to.
- Elisabeth is crawling and walking while holding on to things. She is quick! She loves to play chase with us. We tell her “I’m going to get you!” and she crawls away as fast as she can giggling the whole way. It is pretty adorable!
- She is saying more and more words for which I am so thankful! She says mama, baba, and dada.
- Elisabeth has transitioned to only two bottles a day, one first thing in the morning and one at night before she goes to bed. She had no problem dropping her afternoon bottle. She loves to eat just about anything so she definitely doesn’t go hungry! We let her try whole milk for the first time and she loved it! The end of her high-priced formula is in sight, hooray!
- Along with the flu, Elisabeth got her first sinus infection. It was the very first time she ever had to have an antibiotic. Poor baby!
- Elisabeth loves to get into anything and everything! She is very good at playing by herself and entertaining herself with toys. She especially loves all of Carter’s Transformers toys. Ha! She loves Carter, too! She thinks he is hilarious and loves bothering him.
- Elisabeth is waving, giving high-fives and clapping now. So cute!
With everything that has been going on lately, I didn't have a chance to take any “official” monthly pictures. I did take some cute ones during bath time, though. She loves her bath time. Sadly for her, we are usually rushing during it and she doesn’t get as much play time as she would like. She is such a little chub! Seeing her during bath time reminds me that she really is our chubbiest little baby! Just look at those thighs! She is such a cutie!
