Our Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

This afternoon we took advantage of the beautiful weather and all visited a new pumpkin patch. It was actually at a Christmas tree farm, which was so beautiful! Abbie and Carter were so excited when we arrived and couldn’t wait to start exploring. There were pumpkin patches, a train ride, a hay ride, farm animals and games.

Abbie and Carter decided to first check out the pumpkins. They had a great time climbing all over the pumpkins.

If both our children weren’t allergic to everything, we would definitely come back and buy one for Christmas. We may have to come back at Christmastime just to explore the trees! Abbie and Carter had fun on the ride and loved throwing hay on Daddy!

We found an area with smaller pumpkins and let each of the kids pick one out to take home. Abbie and Carter loved their pumpkins. Carter insisted on holding his the rest of the time. At one point Steve handed him Abbie’s pumpkin by mistake, which he promptly rejected and demanded his own!

Our afternoon ended with a quick stop by the farm animals. Carter found a cat roaming around that he just adored. He followed the cat around for a while and kept trying to pet it. He really loves animals!
