Carter’s 9 Month Check-Up

Carter had his 9 month check-up this morning! The doctor said that Carter is growing just as he should be. He is now 19 pounds and one ounce (25%) and 29 1/2 inches long (85%)! He has stayed right around the same percentiles as noted during his 6 month check-up. The doctor no longer has any concerns about his weight and just said that he is long and lean. Carter is developing right on track and is crawling, standing, eating finger foods and babbling (da-da). The doctor said his allergies looked great, meaning there wasn’t much to see. Hooray! The doctor was amazed at how happy and playful he was the whole time. I think it has a lot to do with the doctor. Both of my kids love him and are so at ease with him. Carter had his toe pricked and one shot today. He did not make a sound during the toe prick and just watched as the nurse took his blood sample. He was not happy about his shot, however! He cried but immediately stopped when I gave him his sock (a distraction) to play with. Go figure! We are so thankful for a healthy and happy little boy!
