Here area few pictures of the Birthday Boy before his party. He is just the cutest!
We were the first party of the day so I was able to get there a little early to start setting up. Even though we didn’t have that many decorations it still took a while. Mimi and I worked frantically to get everything ready, and the room ended up looking great.
Carter is actually very good at gymnastics, which is not really a surprise considering how crazy he is. He is the one year old who broke both arms in a month! He recently advanced to a new gymnastics class that is actually for 5-7 year olds. He adores his new coach, Coach Peter and was so excited when he realized Coach Peter would be his party host. I was so excited for him!
The kids all had a great time playing games, jumping on the trampolines and swinging into the pit! Carter reluctantly took center stage in the activities, he is just so shy, while Abbie happily stood by his side as the big sister.
Toward the end of the party, Coach Peter climbed a beam along the side of the building all the way to the rafters. He hung there for a second before falling all the way to the pit. The kids all thought it was awesome!
While all of the big kids were off doing fun things, the baby crowd hung out and played, too. They are all adorable!
Once everyone was done playing, we moved in to the party room for snacks (cheese puffs and fruit snacks) and cake. Carter worked up quite a sweat playing and definitely needed a break!
We all sang “Happy Birthday” to Carter. He loved blowing out the candles but did not like having all of the attention on him. The sequence of pictures below show his sweet, shy personality perfectly. I just love my sweet little boy!
I am so happy that Carter had a wonderful 4th birthday party! He is a sweet, thoughtful, intelligent boy, and we are so proud to be his parents. We love you, Carter!!
