Playgroup Renion

While we were in Plano, we were able to meet up with some of our playgroup friends. We have missed seeing them each week so much! Abbie was so excited to see Griffin, Emily and Ella again. She was a little shy at first, but quickly fell back into the old familiarity of playing with her friends. It is hard to believe they have been playing together for three years now! I loved seeing Wendy, Rachel and Melissa too. I have really missed seeing them each week and having their support as a stay at home mom.

Wendy and Griffin had us all over to play at their house. Wendy even had a little craft for them to do, complete with foam letters/shapes and jewels. Abbie loved making her crown and still wears it all the time around the house!

The kids started off playing in Griffin’s fun playroom. Abbie loved playing with Wendy (Griffin’s mom) and puppets.

Eventually, they ventured out from the playroom and starting running all over the house with excitement. They all piled into Griffin’s bed at one point and thought it was the funniest thing! I don’t know what it is about being in your friend’s bed, but they all loved it!

Wendy had bought pink crowns for the girls and an orange visor for Griffin to decorate. All the kids loved it!

After craft time, we all ate our lunch together and played for a little while longer. Abbie was so sad when we had to leave. She gave each of her friends a goodbye hug.

We had the best time seeing our friends and missed Abby, Emmy, Leah and Travis. It was so strange driving to Wendy’s house that day. It felt so familiar, like we had never left. It felt just like any other playgroup day. I really miss all of our friends so much. We are heading back to Plano in October and hope to see some of our friends again!
