Today we visited a Christmas tree farm! Abbie and Carter both had a great time running through the trees. Steve and I enjoyed all the wonderful smelling trees. Sadly, we have an artificial tree since both of our kids (well even Bailey, actually) suffer from severe allergies. Their allergies are somewhat under control right now, and I am not doing anything to jinx it! So we settled for a fun day running through the trees and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Santa happened to be visiting the farm as well! Abbie was so excited to sit on his lap and tell him what she wanted for Christmas; a doll house, a baby seat for her bike, princess dolls, and Tinkerbell and her fairies. Carter was not too sure what to make of Santa and never even got close enough to him for a picture. Carter did like all of the small planes flying overhead, as there is a small, local airport located very close to the farm. Perhaps he will be a future pilot!
We all had a great day enjoying the Christmas season!
