Abbie went on her first plane ride to visit Steve's family in Maryland and New Jersey for Thanksgiving. We took a non-stop flight from Houston to Baltimore. It is a fairly long flight, about three and a half hours. She had a great time looking at all the people in the airport and on the plane. On our way there, she was too excited to sleep and kept looking at a little girl behind us. She hardly cried at all! On the way back, she had many admirers on the plane. Everyone around us laughed because she was the only one watching the flight attendant as she gave her safety presentation. They joked they would follow Abbie out in the event of any emergency! Again, she was a great traveler! What a relief!
